The Reach Out Project is a mentoring programme for inner-city London boys.

Our vision is to open up London as a city of opportunity for our youth and help each young person we support to realise their potential regardless of their background/circumstance.

Our programme is rooted in early intervention practises using mechanisms such as mentoring and workshops to support young people who are at risk of poor outcomes. Reaching young people before negative influences and external pressures come their way is beneficial for them as individuals but also as members of the wider society.

We focus on supporting four key aspects of childhood development; cognitive, behavioural and social and emotional development. This has the potential to make the biggest positive impact on a young person’s life. Our work offers targeted support, which provides a necessary alternate reality for our beneficiaries who are surrounded by environments that lack diversity in opportunities.

With the help of our incredible partners, donors and mentors, we can continue to reach vulnerable young people who will benefit hugely from our support, as they strive to achieve their academic and behavioural targets.

Together we can guide them towards a positive future.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

"I strongly believe that being part of The Reach Out Project has helped enhance my ability to communicate in a professional manner within the work industry. The mentors helped me find work experience in the Construction industry and supported me through it. Being on the programme also helped build up my teamworking skills with my peers, creating a bond for life."
